If you build it, they will come.
I am happy to announce that USA Tourism Board, my experiment in building a web and social media presence about USA travel, is becoming somewhat official. Because today sees the launch of usatravel.about.com, a new travel site on About.com.
I will be the guide for USA Travel, which means I will be curating content from U.S. city and regional guides on About as well as writing about the latest events, hotel packages, vacation deals, and everything else related to travel in the USA.
As always, you can share your USA travel tips with me by submitting them here on Tumblr or sending me a tweet. I can’t promise you that I will publish everything that you submit, but I will definitely be looking for timely, intriguing USA travel info to share with my About.com readers.
The U.S. is a huge country, so it’s hard to cover all the travel possibilities that it has to offer. Still, I plan to do my best. With your help, I know that usatravel.about.com will evolve into one of the best resources on USA Travel.
Thanks for your help. Now go look at the site!
